My daughter met with her advisor, but when she tried to register, it turns out the advisor told her completely wrong courses. Now she has to wait til Nov. 4 to meet with advisor- if she can't get classes she needs, then she's going to leave TX State and sit out a semester. We can't afford for her to take just a few hours. If advisors screw up a student's schedule, they should 1. be held accountable, and 2. the student should immediately be able to meet with another advisor who knows what the heck they're doing. I am very unhappy about this.
