With just about a month to move-in, we want to make sure that our bobcats and their families are well prepared for the exciting days ahead! Please take some time for you and your student to review the Texas State University Move-In Guide. This will give you a thorough overview of everything you need to know to prepare for move-in. From our packing guide, to how to mail things to your hall, we have it all!
As we get closer and closer to the big day, we encourage you to have a conversation with your students to ensure the following housing requirements are completed:
- View their housing assignment in the housing portal
- Schedule a move-in appointment in the housing portal
- Check their Bobcat Mail for important communications regarding move-in
- Move-in time hang tags will be distributed to their email closer to move-in.

My son hasn’t been able to get a hold of his dorm roommate. How can I get someone to help us as we need to see about not doubling up on dorm room items as usually they coordinate during summer. Please help!
We have the same problem . My daughter’s roommate won’t answer her either. I just gave up and hope for the best . Save your receipts.
